Key Responsibilities: Partners with Procurement Leader, Buyer team and Business Stakeholders on key Indirect Categories to drive activities on supporting business needs and achieve procurement metrics goals Lead sourcing activities/projects and drive to meet and exceed the key metrics goals as set by leadership. Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with internal stakeholders, peers, and key or high impact suppliers, etc. Lead strategic negotiation on long term agreements with specific suppliers. Assemble and analyze data to determine behavior patterns to identify opportunities for Efficiency and cost improvement. Identifies and drives cost/spend reduction opportunities or supplier base optimization. Continue drive cross business/sites leverage/synergy opportunities and projects. Builds and understands total cost of ownership for the categories.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering related disciplines. Desire to learn and grow fast with more opportunity/responsibility, self-motivated, ownership mindset, detail-oriented, strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong foundational knowledge of purchasing and strategic sourcing principles such as TCO, strategic supplier, win-win negotiation, risk management, price leverage, process reengineering, etc. Good logic thinking, ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities. Ability to work effectively with people at all levels. Good command of written (must) & spoken (better) English. Proficiency in MS office, especially PPT, Excel (i.e. Pivot table, VLOOKUP)
