GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY职责概述

 Conceptualize, develop, implement, and maintain new and existing product designs using sound mechanical engineering principles in support of company business development efforts, marketing plans and department plans. Analyze specifications, as  well as business, technology & cost requirements, and implement appropriate,  approved designs in a timely and cost-effective manner. Take steps necessary to ensure product reliability, performance, and customer acceptance.

PRIMARY DUTIES主要职责

      §  Conceptualize and develop material handling products using sound mechanical engineering principles

§  Adhere to suitable design and documentation practices and methodologies

§  Develop and maintain cost projections against an established target throughout development

§  Provide quality assurance for output as well as serving as a cross checking resource

§  Supervise functional as well as accelerated life testing to ensure product reliability and performance

§  Support customers in product use and application

§  Support vendors in product and sub-component fabrication

§  Adhere to project timelines and budgets

§  Participate in department projects and on company teams

§  Collaborate with Gorbel® US Product Development team

SPECIFIC DUTIES具体工作内容

      §  Create and maintain CAD solid models, assemblies, and detailed drawings in SolidWorks

§  Maintain 2D CAD detail drawings in AutoCAD

§  Develop and maintain supporting design calculations

§  Specify & document product reliability test protocols

§  Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) using SolidWorks Simulation

§  Create and maintain product bills of material and routings in Syteline

§  Execute ECN’s (Engineering Change Notices)

§   

使用SolidWorks创建和维护3D实体模型，组件和零件图纸

       使用AutoCAD设计、维护2D CAD零件图纸

       起草、校正产品的设计计算

       制定并记录产品可靠性测试项目

       使用SolidWorks仿真设计FEA(有限元分析)

       在ERP中创建和维护产品材料清单和路线

       执行ECN(工程设计变更通知)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS基本要求

 4 Year Mechanical Engineering degree

Ability to meet tight deadlines with high quality requirements

Project and task management skills

Problem solving skills

Detail oriented

Good at oral and written English is plus
